About Our Client
Our client is a family-owned, private $75M manufacturer located in Pleasant Prairie specializing in packaging products for customers across the Midwest.
The ideal candidate is a growing accounting professional with exposure to general accounting tasks, such as journal entries, month end close, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and accruals, The team is looking to bring someone in that is ready to take a step up in their career and partner directly with the Controller and CFO.
Job Description
Accounting Analyst Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation
- Support internal controls, audit requests, and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data
- Apply incoming cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts
- Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes
- Support credit memo processing and customer account maintenance
- Other duties as assigned

Accounting Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Experience in manufacturing industry a plus
- Public accounting expereince a plus
